How to Submit a Guest Post
📨 Step 1: Pitch Your Idea
Send us an email at hello@estateskyline.co with 2-3 blog post ideas you’d love to write about. We’re especially drawn to topics that are insightful, experience-based, and helpful to readers.
Not sure which idea fits best? No worries – we’re happy to brainstorm with you.
✍️ Step 2: Write Your Article
Once your topic is approved, go ahead and draft your post following these guidelines:
- Word Count: Minimum 1,000 words; ideally 1,500–2,500 for in-depth pieces
- Structure: Use proper headings (H2, H3), short paragraphs, bullet points, and bolding to keep it skimmable
- SEO-Friendly: Naturally integrate relevant keywords and include alt text for any images
- Link Policy: All links need to be pre-approved and feature the relevant content that complements the article
- Tone: Friendly, clear, and personal (write like you’re talking to someone who could really use your advice)
- Quality: All content must be original, plagiarism-free, well-researched, and genuinely helpful
🚀 Step 3: Review & Publish
Once we receive your draft, our editorial team will review it for clarity, quality, and fit. If everything looks good, we’ll schedule it for publishing and let you know the date it’ll go live – along with a link to share your work with the world!
Editorial Standards: What We’re Looking For
To help your piece stand out (and make our readers love it), keep these in mind:
- Value-packed content: Make sure readers walk away with something useful.
- Credibility: Back up key points with trusted sources, data, or examples.
- Engaging format: Break things up visually with headings, bullets, or even charts/images if relevant.
- Real stories & experiences: The best advice comes from people who’ve been there.
- Authenticity over perfection: We love unique perspectives and honest insights.
🚫 We won’t publish content related to Your Money Your Life (YMYL) topics, with links to adult sites, gambling, payday loans, or anything spammy or unethical.
Writing Tips:
- Keep your tone helpful, not salesy.
- Add personal anecdotes, case studies, or “here’s what I learned” moments.
- Wrap up your article with a clear takeaway or next steps for the reader.
- Be YOU. Your voice is what makes the content special.
